TechCrunch obtained a document sent to businesses from Facebook. This document confirms that business will be able to send ads to those users who started a thread with them. This is good that business will only send ads to people who have initiated the chat with them. In this way, Facebook will limit spam.

This document also confirms the launch of a URL short link fb.com/msg/  which instantly opens a chat thread with a business. It will work similar to a shortcut to customer support. In place of calling a business, people can just use this link and start the conversation with business.

If you could remember, Facebook announced Messenger as a platform few months back. This new leak confirms another step towards it.

Right now, we only have limited information. But we can guess that something big is coming. As per human nature, People hate changes. But they are also addicted to Facebook. So, they will become habitual.
