Facebook bought Whatsapp around 2 years back in a multi-billion dollar deal. Now, after Whatsapp has around 1 billion active users, Facebook has started integrating this messaging app with its social networking platform.

Now, Facebook wants to use whatsapp data to improve Facebook experience. Facebook will use Whatsapp data to improve your feeds and ads. Whatsapp has already confirmed to bring business accounts and let businesses connect with its customers via Whatsapp platform.

Not just this integration, Whatsapp is also working to bring end-to-end encryption to improve security of its messaging platform.

So, next version of Whatsapp will bring improved security and privacy. Facebook integration option will be there but you will have to manually select that option if you want to integrate Facebook with Whatsapp.
