Microsoft announces new VR headsets for Windows 10, starting at $299

Now Microsoft is serious about virtual reality and today it announced its new VR Headsets at an event in New York. These headsets will be shipped by several partners including Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus and Acer.

The company also showed off ‘HoloTour’ that allows you to talk Street View-like trips around the world.

The new headsets will be the first headsets to have 6 degrees of freedom sensors. So, there is no need to have a separate room or setup to enjoy the VR.

These headsets will provide more affordable VR experience on their PCs. It also showcased a soccer match playing in Microsoft Edge.

There is no word when these VR headsets will hit the market, but we expect to get the details in few hours when the company reveals more details.

With these new VR headsets, more people can afford VR world and explore the VR content.
