Microsoft releases “Ok Google” Alternate Torque Voice Search for Android Devices

Torque Voice SearchMicrosoft has released its Torque Search for Android smartphones. It lets you shake your phone and launch voice search.

Search of the app is powered by Bing Search. To use this app, you will have to sign in with your Microsoft account to use this app. Once you have enabled this, you will be shown settings page where you can check ‘Shake anytime’ option to enable it. Now every time you shake the handset (When it is not locked), you will se a floating box asking for your voice command. Ask anything to get instant answers. You can ask things like local flights, sports scores, stock prices, weather, nearby restaurants and more things.

Torque is compatible with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or higher.

Torque Voice Search was launched as a part of Microsoft Garage project and was already available for Android wear devices. On smartwatches, you can perform search by a wrist flick.
