After Facebook and Apple, Microsoft also accepted that it was also the victim of same type of attack faced by Facebook and Apple. Micrsoft is already investigating the issue and decided not to make any public statement.

Microsoft haked

Microsoft said that few of their computers were infected with malicious software. Company is also trying to investigate whether customers data was affected or not.

“During our investigation, we found a small number of computers, including some in our Mac business unit, that were infected by malicious software using techniques similar to those documented by other organizations. We have no evidence of customer data being affected and our investigation is ongoing,” Matt Thomlinson wrote in blog acknowledging the attack.

“We continually re-evaluate our security posture and deploy additional people, processes, and technologies as necessary to help prevent future unauthorized access to our networks,” He added.

No doubt the attack source is china and Microsoft also thinks same. Although, company has not written the name of attack source.

Microsoft has described the attack in similar way described by Facebook. So, it seems that same attackers attacked on Microsoft too. If companies like Microsoft, Apple and Facebook are not safe, then how normal internet user can protect his computer.

We strongly recommend users to install a good Antivirus and firewall  Always install regular software and operating system to reduce the chance of being vulnerable.
