It has been more than 14 years since Apple introduced the iPad, but they couldn’t make a calculator app for their tablet. All other products including the iPhone, Mac, and even the Apple Watch are shipped with a calculator app. However, the wait seems over. As per a report by MacRumors, Apple is planning to include a Calculator app in iPadOS 18.
Apple will host WWDC on June 10th. The report suggests that Apple could unveil the app during the event.

For years, iPad users had to download third-party calculator apps or use Spotlight search for basic calculations. Free third-party Calculator apps are filled with ads and don’t provide a good experience. Not many iPad users find it worth paying for a calculator app that could have been given by Apple for free.
The report also claims that Apple may revamp the calculator app for MacOS. The revamped app could look similar to the calculator app for iOS. There could be a change in App size as it could come with an adjustable window. Apple could also add a history tape feature to show the previous calculations.
