Recently, I came across a nice app Videoder. The app lets users watch and download videos from several popular websites in few clicks. In simple words, you have curated videos from popular websites along with an option to download.
The app allows downloading from YouTube and other Google websites. So, Google has not allowed the app to come on Play Store. If you want to download it, you will have to download it from its official website. I checked the permission, and couldn’t find anything suspicious. So, you can download without any issue.
The home page of the Videoder app lets you you search and watch videos within the app. The built-in player works well. You can see categories of videos at the top So, you can quickly filter videos by category. These videos come from YouTube.
You can tap on any video to watch by using built-in video player. Below the video player, you will see options to download the audio and video. So, you can either download the video in audio format or the while video. You can get several video and audio sizes to download. So, you can download any as per your choice.
For downloading video from the websites such as Facebook, Instagram or any other that wants you to sign in fore accessing content, you will have to login using app’s built in browser. This build-in browser starts a session and then you can navigate to the video you want to download.
On different services, you will see download option in different way. See how it shows download link on Instagram. Nit just videos, it also shows download option for photos. Tapping on it shows option to download photo or video in different sizes.
There are lots of services to try. These include Facebook, Instagram, Hotstar, Musical.y, SonyLIv, DailyMotion and lot more. All popular video destinations have already been included. So, I don’t think you need any other video downloading app.
If you want to download any other website that is not in the list, you can use the search box at the top of the app. Enter the URL and search. It will pull video from that website and will make it available for download.

I tested the app for three days before writing this article. I didn’t face any problem at any point of time. This app works what it claims. You can download any kind of video or photo. The best thing is that the app offers different video, audio or photo sizes.
The app is ad-supported, but you also have an option to purchase premium subscription to get ads-free experience.
