Yesterday, BlackBerry Officials confirmed that company wants to go private and looking for potential buyers. In the meantime, company has released another QWERTY smartphone running on BB7.1 OS. This smartphone is dubbed as BlackBerry 9720. It comes with dedicated BBM button at right side of the phone.
BlackBerry 9720 features a 2.8 inch HVGA display with 480 x 360 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 800 MHz processor with 512 MB RAM. It has a 5 megapixel camera but no front facing camera. It has 512 MB internal storage and a microSD card with 32 GB card support. Connectivity features are Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi and GPs.
It is packed with 1,450 mAh battery that claims to give 7 hours of talk time and18 days standby time.
