OnePlus 8 Series launch date announced

Finally, OnePlus has confirmed the launch date of upcoming OnePlus 8 series. The launch event is scheduled for April 14 at 8:30 PM IST. This will be an online launch via the livestream.

This time the tagline is “Lead with Speed”.

We have already seen several renders of OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8. We know that these phones will come with 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 865 chipset with 5G capabilities and Wireless charging. The previous leak confirmed the specs of both OnePlus 8 and OnePlus Pro

OnePlus is expected to launch OnePlus 8 series along with next-gen OnePlus TV. It could also be just the launch of OnePlus TV in International market.

It seems OnePlus will just launch the phones initially in Europe and will only unveil it in India. Pricing and availability for the Indian market will be confirmed later after observing the market condition in India. For now, the country is in mega lockdown until April 15 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and this lockdown could be extended depending on the situation that time.
