Every year, we see the list of worst passwords that are really easy to crack but are widely used by people across the world. Even if experts suggest users to use a strong password to keep their accounts safe, people still use common and easy to remember passwords. These kinds of passwords are easy to crack and it takes a few seconds to crack such passwords using the password cracking tools. Nord has released a list of 200 worst passwords commonly used by people across the globe. I am just putting top 25 here.

These passwords are sorted by the number of users using this password. If you look at the list, picture1, Million2, and aaron431 are relatively strong. It will take 3 hours to crack these passwords. Most of these passwords will take less than a second to crack. “123456” and “password” are on the list for the past couple of years. People are still commonly using these passwords.

A strong password keeps your account safe. So, you should always choose a strong password. You can use a good random password generator to generate a strong password. While selecting a password, always use a mix of upper case characters, lower case characters, numbers, and special characters. This makes it hard for password cracking tools to crack a password.
