Bharti Airtel has partnered with Vedantu to bring educational channels on Airtel Digital TV. Under this partnership, two dedicated DTH channels – Vedantu Masterclasses will be available to all Airtel Digital TV customers. These channels cost Rs 4 per day.
As I said, there are two dedicated channels. One is for students from Classes 6 to 10 while the 2nd challenge will cater to Classes 11 to 12 students. These live channels will cover Maths and Science topics and teaching will be a mix of English and Hindi. Vedantu is also planning to add regional language content.
Vedantu is a known learning platform that boasts to deliver quality educational content by faculty including graduates from IIT and AIIMS with experience in teaching.

Airtel has confirmed that 11 hours of fresh interactive content will be provided daily. There will also be a repeat telecast for students who missed the classes.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, schools and colleges are not operating. So, most schools opted for online classes. Several online learning platforms also saw a boost in this user base. Online classes and online learning need good internet speed. So having the content on TV is a better idea.
It is worth noting that Airtel Digital TV had also partnered with Aakash Educational Services Limited (Aakash) to launch a dedicated Aakash Edu TV for medical and engineering entrance exams preparation. Now students will also have access to educational content on their TV.
