FLipkart New logoFlipkart has partnered with Spice Hotspot to showcase its smartphones in Spice hotspot stores across the country. Customers can check the smartphones in these exclusive experience zones before ordering online from Flipkart. Flipkart calls it ‘assisted e-commerce model’.

Not just the demo, store staff will also assist customer in buying phone from Flipkart app. Customer can set the delivery to their address or at the Spice Hostspot they are. As of now, these experience zones are available in 30 outlets across 19 cities of the country.

With this association, Flipkart wants to reach those customers who are not tech savvy and use offline retail stores for buying products. These users do not prefer buying a product online just because they cannot experience the device before they order. So, they can now use these experience centers to experience the devices and then learn how to use Flipkart app to order items online.

Flipkart also wants more users to use its mobile app. This is the reason they did their ‘Big Billion days sale’ as mobile app only. They also provide discounts only on mobile app now. And these outlets will also promote app.
