Vivo Y51L with 5-inch display, 4G LTE and Metal Frame body launched in India for Rs. 11980

Vivo has launched its new smartphone Vivo Y51L in Indian market. This phone seems to be the successor of its existing Vivo Y51.  It is priced at Rs. 11980.

Vivo Y51L is a dual sim phone and comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop with Funtouch OS out of the box. It has an attractive slim design. It has a metal frame and mirror finish at the back. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU. It comes with a 5-inch qHD display. It features a 8 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixels front camera.

Vivo Y51L offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. It is packed with 2350 mAh battery. Dimensions of the device measures 143.8×71.7×7.52mm and weight is 157g.

As we have smartphones with fingerprint sensors in this price segment, Vivo will face tough competition in selling this phone. Vivo should reconsider the price of this phone and give it a price cut. Vivo mobiles are already struggling due to lack of brand awareness.
