Huawei has silently unveiled its new tablet Huawei MediaPad M1 tablet in Paris. It is the successor of its existing tablet MediaPad M2.
Huawei MediaPad M2 features a 8-inch full-HD (1920×1200 pixels) display. It is powered by a 2GHz 64-bit octa-core Kirin 930 processor with 2GB of RAM. It also comes with 16GB internal storage which is expandable via microSD card. It has 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2 megapixel front camera. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 3.1 skin at top. It is packed with 4800 mAh battery. It comes with Wi-Fi b / g / n / ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and NFC connectivity features. LTE variant will offer 4G LTE Category 4 (max throughput up to 150 Mbps) connectivity option.
Wi-Fi only variant of Huawei MediaPad M2 will be priced at EUR 279 and the Wi-Fi + 4G variant will be priced at EUR 349. It is expected to go on sale from next month. It will be available in Silver, Gray and Gold colour options.
