HTC will launch its next smartphone HTC M7 on February 19 in an event. According to few reports, this new smartphone will bring some thing new that is called Ultrapixels. Yes, it is replacing the megapixel technology with new ultrapixel technology.
Earlier, it was rumoured that the device will come with a 13 megapixel camera. Now, this smartphone is rumoured to have 3 layers of 4.3 megapixel sensor that can be combined to create a single layer. The resulting image is said to be cleaner, crisper and better than the image taken from traditional camera technology.
Other than this rumoured camera technology, this smartphone is expected to feature 1.7GHz quad-core processor, 4.7-inch 1080p full HD display and a 2,300 mAh battery. It is expected to run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean along with a layer of Sense 5.0 UI.
Ultrapixel is a new technology and we have to wait for the launch of the smartphone to see how it works and how it will impact future camera technology.
