Vivo iQOO Gaming Phone with 6.41-inch Display, Snapdragon 855, 44W Charging Launched in China

Vivo has finally announced its new sub-brand iQOO for a gaming phone. The first phone is called Vivo iQOO. The iQOO stands for “I Quest On and On.”

Vivo iQOO features a large 6.41-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Display with Halo notch. The company claims a screen body ratio of 91.7 percent. The phone has a glass back and comes in two color options including Electro-optic Blue and Lava Orange. Both the variants feature Halo light strip at the back. It automatically lights up when you achieve a milestone during gameplay.

It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with Adreno 640 GPU. It also includes super liquid cooling technology to keep it cool.

The phone has Qualcomm Elite Gaming that boosts graphics performance in gaming. Vivo iQOO comes with AI Turbo that improves popular app speeds by around 30%, Net Turbo that offers seamless switch between Wi-Fi and 4G when gaming, Cooling Turbo that offers super liquid cooling inside, Center Turbo and Game turbo that prioritizes system resources for smooth gameplay.

It comes in four different configurations including 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage.

The phone runs on FunTouch OS based on Android 9 Pie out of the box.

It features a triple camera with 12 megapixels primary, 13 megapixels secondary wide-angle camera and 2 megapixels depth camera. It also jams 12-megapixel front camera for video calling.

The phone also includes two pressure sensitive buttons on the right side of the phone that the company calls Monster Touch. It works as two additional controls while gaming.

The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It also comes with 4D audio and vibration experience that further enhances your gaming experience.

The phone packs 4,000mAh battery with support to 44W Vivo Super FlashCharge technology. The company claims that it will take just 45 minutes to charge it from 0 to 100 percent. The headrest model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage doesn’t support fast charging. It has a unique capsule-shaped connector that lets users play on even while the phone is on charg.
