Snapchat has hit a new milestone. The social messaging app now has more than 750 million monthly active users. The company also confirmed that around 375 million users open the app every day. The company now aims to reach over 1 billion people in the next two to three years.
Snapchat is a messaging app, still, it has only 50% of its total users come back to the app every day. This number could have been better.
If we see Snap’s growth in Q4 in different regions, the growth in North America is flat. The company saw the most growth in Europe where it added 4 million more daily active users.
The company now has over 147 million users in India and is slowly building its presence.
Although the numbers seem good, Snapchat falls far short of roughly 2.96 billion monthly active users on Facebook. Facebook also has 67% of users coming back to the app daily.
