TP-Link Cloud Camera NC200

TP-Link is all set to launch its cloud camera TP-Link Cloud Camera NC200 in coming months. This cloud camera can be used for security purpose to monitor a place and access the camera recording live on the go. Pricing details will be announced at the time of launch. You need to create TP Link cloud account to access the camera. You can also download Android or iOS apps. SO, just install this camera at your home, office or shop and then keep an eye on those places on the go. You can install up to 36 cameras under a single account. It can also detect motion and then send e-mail or FTP notifications to let you know the activity in front of camera.

We tried this camera for few days in our office and in this post, I am adding the review of the camera.

Design

Camera design is normal with plastic body. It has a stand at the backside which can be moved in various direction. You can mount this camera in wall, ceilings or table. It has a LAN port, port for power cable and Reset/WPS push button.

Dimensions of the camera are: 96 x 61 x 24 mm.

Camera

It features a VGA camera with F: 2.8, f: 3.85 mm lenses. Camera also features 4X zoom. As you already know that VGA camera does not offer good quality, so you will not enjoy good quality videos. But it is good as a security camera. You can easily identify a person on the camera. It can record 20 fps at VGA resolution.

Connectivity

You can connect this camera via LAN or Wifi to your router. So, you can use any of these connectivity option to connect this camera to your router’s internet connection. It also has a built-in microphone to record the voice. You can listen the voice in your mobile app or web portal.

This camera can also work as Wi-Fi extender. So, it increases wireless coverage around each camera. This feature is really interesting.
