World’s slimmest smartphone Vivo X5Max has been launched in India for Rs. 32,980. This smartphone will be available in all retail stores starting Monday. This smartphone was initially launched in China last week and is only 4.75mm thick. It grabbed the slimmest smartphone crown from Oppo R5 which measures 4.85 mm thickness.
If we talk about the specifications, Vivo X5Max features a 64 bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and runs on Funtouch OS 2.0 based on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 5.5 inc full HD Super AMOLED display. It is packed with 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage and microSD card slot to expand storage up to 128 GB. It features a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and Sony IMX214 sensor. It also has a 5 megapixel front camera for selfie. Connectivity feature of the smartphone are 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, microUSB, GPRS/EDGE, USB OTG and 3G.
It has a magnesium alloy and stainless steel body and a stainless steel back. It also has anti-fingerprint coating on the body of the device. It has YAMAHA YSS-205X digital surround signal processing chip along with SABRE ES9601 DAC and TI’s OPA1612 amplifier. This combined chipset setup is called as Hi-Fi 2.0 which offers better music experience.
