Twitter has announced easier way for users to report abusive tweets on micro-blogging platform. Now you can report tweets with less information.
Earlier, users had to fill out a long form to file complaint against an abusive account. But now we have very fewer steps. Now one can also report if he/she observed abuse but not received it directly. This new process is simpler and faster. To shorted the response time, company has also made few changes behind the scenes.

Twitter has also revamped the blocked accounts page which you access from the settings on Twitter.com. Here, you see the accounts you have blocked. Twitter promised to add more controls and features to this page in coming months. Accounts you block will not be able view your profile.
This update is only available to small group of users. It will be rolled out to other users in coming weeks.
On Twitter, any one can comment and tag in Tweet. So, options for privacy is must. This will offer peace of mind to many people who usually face abuse and harrasment on Twitter.
