Twitter is the most popular microblogging website and fastest way of information communication. It also try to engage users by adding cool features. Yesterday, It has added an important feature that allows users to email tweets from web.

Apart from this feature, it has also improved Twitter app for iPhone and Android. Search feature of the app has been enhanced.

“You can retweet any (Twitter messages) to your Twitter followers, but sometimes you want to share with another group, like your college roommates or your parents or a friend who isn’t yet on Twitter,” engineer Stefan Filip said in a blog post.

“That’s why we’re introducing the ability to email a Tweet directly from twitter.com.”

Many Twitter apps already allow users to send tweet to anyone, but now its available to main website. When it emails a tweet from your account from mobile apps, tweet is sent from your default email address in Twitter. But this new web feature sends tweet from Twitter itself.

Currently Twitter has more than 500 million users worldwide and still far behind from Facebook that has more than 1 billion users. The only reason for this difference is that Twitter has only limited features but Facebook has so many things for entertainment.
