Valorant has introduced a new game mode called Switfplay in beta. The company will start testing Swiftplay starting from December 6 to January 10. If the game mode gets a good response, the company will keep the game mode permanently in the game.

The Swiftplay mode is basically a short version of Unrated mode. You will still join a team of 5 players and play against a team of 5 players. The Swiftplay mode will include 2 halves of 4 rounds. The team that wins 5 rounds will win. A Swiftplay mode game will take around 15 minutes.

There are a few tweaks in the economy and the way how players earn ultimate points. Players will get two ultimate points for free at the start of each half.

Swiftplay is currently in beta and can receive a few changes before the company decides to make it permanent in the game.

The company has also released patch 5.12 which also made a few notable changes. The company has increased assist tails. So, players will see more assists in their stats. Spectre is also getting a change in damage. Riot has also made some changes in the abilities and utilities of different agents.
