Google has taken an important step to stop malware apps. Now apps will not immediately publish in Play Store. Developers will have to submit the app for the review. Apps will be manually tested and reviewed to find violations and malware in the apps. And this will be done by real person.

Before this process, Google used automated tools to check for violations and malware. But this manual review process will surely help Google in stopping malware apps coming in Google Play Store.

Google has also launched the new rating system for Android apps. Now the new rating system will clearly mention if the app is appropriate for certain age groups. If you are Android app developer, you need to complete the new rating questionnaire to maintain your apps’ availability on Google Play. If you will not complete rating questionnaire, your app will be marked as ‘unrated’.
