Google has made it easier to take selfie from your Android smartphone. Google Now has added a ‘selfie’ command to instantly activate the phone’s camera and take selfie. Just say ‘Ok Google, Take a Selfie’ and phone will launch camera app to take selfie.

Google Now Selfie command

This command will only open the camera app and will not take the picture on its own. You will have to take photo from camera manually. Earlier, we could open the camera just by saying ‘Open camera’ command. But this doesn’t open the front camera.

Google has not officially announced this command addition. BGR first reported the addition of this Google Now command.

Few days back, Google added support for parking location to locate the vehicle on maps. In March, Google also rolled out Google Now cards for desktop.
