These reports have taken a step towards the truth as the Chinese company has confirmed that they are making an entry into the drone market. Well, to be fair, we are not at all surprised by this announcement as the company has made a foray into the market for several consumer good including smartphones, smart TVs, and smart home devices.
In the MIUI forums that are managed by the company, the company earlier teased with two images of the purported drone. However, now, a teaser video has surfaced where even if we are not getting a clear view at the drone, we are able to get the specifications and other details. The drone in the video is completely white and carries a high definition camera. It has four rotors in total which are supported on long arms and the camera mount is located at the bottom centre of the body. According to the rumors, the drone is capable of shooting 4K videos and there are going to be different variants of it. The highest rumored price goes up to $610.
The drone is all set to launch day after tomorrow that is May 25. We will update the complete details post launch. Stay tuned for further updates.
