Motorola has launched a new smartphone in India, the Moto G86 Power 5G. This is the latest addition to the brand’s budget-friendly G series and comes packed with some impressive specs for the price.
The moto g86 Power 5G comes with a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It is a 10-bit pOLED panel with up to 4500 nits of peak brightness. So, the display is easily viewable even in direct sunlight. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The phone also has an IP68 and IP69 rating to offer water and dust resistance. It also meets MIL-STD 810H durability standards.
The g86 Power 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, built on a 4nm process. It has an octa-core CPU and Mali-G615 MC2 GPU for graphics. The phone comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. Day-to-day tasks and multitasking feel smooth, and it handles games decently too.
The phone runs Android 15 out of the box. Motorola has promised 2 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates.
The smartphone features a 50MP main camera with Sony LYT-600 sensor and OIS (optical image stabilization). There is also an 8MP ultra-wide camera that doubles as a macro lens. On the front, you get a 32MP selfie camera with Quad Pixel technology for clearer photos.
The phone has in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, USB Type-C audio, and dual microphones. It supports 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB Type-C.
It will be available in three PANTONE color options — Cosmic Sky, Golden Cypress, and Spellbound. Dimensions measure 161.21 x 74.74x 8.65mm, and it weighs 198g.
The moto g86 Power 5G is priced at Rs. 17,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model. The phone will go on sale starting August 6th via Flipkart, motorola.in, and offline stores.
