Battlefield 6 is officially launching on October 10. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games, and the EA Play app. While the earlier trailer focused only on the single-player campaign, the real excitement is in the multiplayer. The new trailer is focused on showing multiplayer gameplay.

The classic Battlefield modes like Conquest, Rush, and Breakthrough are back. Other popular FPS modes such as Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, Domination, and King of the Hill are also included. A brand-new mode called Escalation is coming too. In this mode, teams fight to capture and hold multiple control points.

Battlefield 6 will feature maps from Egypt, Gibraltar, Tajikistan, and Brooklyn. Fans will also be happy to see a remake of the popular Operation Firestorm map from Battlefield 3. The game includes four familiar classes: Assault, Support, Recon, and Engineer.

The developers are also adding some useful gameplay changes. One is the new Drag and Revive feature, which lets you pull a teammate to safety before reviving them. Another is wall-mounting, which helps reduce recoil when shooting from cover.

As expected, the game brings massive destruction with tanks, airstrikes, rocket launchers, drones, and more. But if you want, you can also just smash things with a giant hammer.

If you want to try the game early, there will be two open beta weekends — August 9–10 and August 14–17.
