ISFC (Indian School Finance Company) has forged strategic partnerships with Lead School, Chrysalis, Kreedo, and Nischal’s smart learning to transform the educational landscape for schools.

With the rapid shift towards hybrid (online + physical) learning, schools don’t have a choice but to invest in technology. ISFC’s ‘Tech Vidyalaya’ aims to empower schools by leveraging technology, to enhance the learning experience with access to quality education.

The primary objectives of the ‘Tech Vidyalaya’ loan product are twofold:

  1. To provide loans to schools (at 9.9% as opposed to the prevalent market rate of 14-15%) to purchase digital products and upgrade their digital infrastructure. These loans are available through ISFC’s alliance partners such as Lead School, Chrysalis, Kreedo, and Nischal’s Smart Learning.
  2. To help schools stay up-to-date with the latest technology and provide a better learning environment for their students.

Sandeep Wirkhare, MD & CEO  of Indian School Finance Company Private Limited spoke about the crucial role of this product in transforming education by saying, “Given that education has now moved into hybrid learning, this product will form a significant part of our growth in the next couple of years.”

The adoption of technology in schools can help educators and students as follows-

  1. It can leverage interactive digital content, offer personalized learning experiences, and advanced tools for content delivery.
  2. It can offer improved access to educational resources such as mobile Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics labs. These will help students gain a deeper understanding of concepts and develop essential skills for the future.
  3. It can facilitate real-time monitoring and assessment, allowing teachers to identify areas of improvement and provide timely interventions.
  4. It can also equip students with the digital literacy skills necessary for success in the modern world.

The loan tenure of up to one year under the ‘Tech Vidyalaya’, allows schools to implement changes, adapt to the evolving educational landscape, and make the country a “Global Knowledge Superpower” by 2030, a vision espoused by the Ministry of Education (MoE). Just as ISFC is available where formal banking isn’t, the ‘Tech Vidyalaya’ can bridge the gap between urban and rural areas with respect to access to quality education.
