At Google I/O 2022, Google confirmed that Android 13 Beta 2 is now available starting today. Users can download it on their compatible Google Pixel smartphones and try new features.

The most notable features of Android 13 Beta 2 include the predictive back gestures, New permission to use exact alarms, and Resource files for specifying supported app languages.

Predictive back gesture will show a user where the swipe back will take them before they actually swipe back. It is useful because it remains confusing many times whether swiping back will take back to the previous activity or close the app. Developers can implement it in their apps. Google has confirmed to XDA-Developers that ‘Predictive back animations’ won’t be available until general availability. So, people who install Beta cannot test this out.

The beta also fixes several bugs reported in the previous beta.

If you want to try the new Android 13 Beta 2, you can download it on Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones.
