Sony has launched a new portable party speaker Sony GTK-PG10 in the Indian market. It is priced at Rs. Rs 19,990 and will be available from all Sony Centers and major electronic stores starting May 6. This speaker was announced earlier this year at CES 2019.

The speaker comes with DSP (Digital Signal Processor) technology that adapts audio settings to optimize outdoor performance. It offers a loud and clear sound that means it ideal for party, picnic or a camping trip. It weighs around 6.3 KG. So, you can easily carry it.

The speaker has a rugged build still looks beautiful. Sony said that the speaker is splash proof. The top panel of the speaker also has integrated cup holders where you can put drinks and food. The top panel remains folded normally. You can open it to put your drinks on it.

It uses Bluetooth connectivity for wireless music streaming. You can pair up to three devices simultaneously. There is also a USB port where you can add a pen drive full of your favorite songs. It also has built-in FM radio to enjoy your favorite radio shows.

The speaker also has has a mounting hole at the base side. That hole can be used to set it on a tripod speaker stand.

Sony GTK-PG10 also has a mic input where you can plugin in a microphone for karaoke sessions. It also has audio input ports to connect MP3 players.

There is also a companion app called “Music Center” that lets you change speaker modes, play songs and control other things.

Sony claims that the speaker’s battery will last for 13 hours on a single charge. One good thing is that it can also be used when plugged in for charging.
