Google releases Pixel USB-C Earbuds with 24-bit audio and real-time translation

Google has silently unveiled a new USB-C earphone called Pixel USB-C Earbuds for Pixel users. It comes with same earbuds as it original Pixel Buds but this time with a wired form factor. It is priced at $30.

It is a wired pair of earbuds for Google’s Pixel phones and promises good audio on a budget. Google says that it offers “smooth sound” with 24-bit audio.

It has the same features as before including the ability to have a real-time translation, trigger Google Assistant, and pull up notifications. All these features work only with Google’s Pixel phones. Use the inline remote to Google Assistant. The real-time feature will work on any device running Android 9 Pie or higher.

This is also the first time when Google has bundled headphones with its Pixel phones. In addition to this, Pixel will come with two charging cables: USB-C to USB-A or USB-C-to-USB-C.
