HBO is the newest victim of hackers. Hackers have hacked into HBO servers and accessed the important data. HBO has also confirmed about this hacking incident. They have no exact idea of accessed data, but hackers claimed that they obtained 1.5 terabytes of data from HBO servers.

The script of next week’s Game of Thrones episode, unreleased episodes of Ballers and Room 104 have appeared online. Hackers have also promised to leak from information.

Hackers have also sent an email to reports on Sunday night and they also want to play up the Game of Thrones angle:

Hi to all mankind. The greatest leak of cyber space era is happening. What’s its name? Oh I forget to tell. Its HBO and Game of Thrones……!!!!!! You are lucky to be the first pioneers to witness and download the leak. Enjoy it & spread the words. Whoever spreads well, we will have an interview with him. HBO is falling.

This is not the first time when HBO is facing this. Back in 2015, four episodes of “Game of Thrones Season 5” appeared on the Internet shortly before the season’s premiere.

At this moment, HBO has no clear info about the accessed data. Hackers just confirmed to obtain 1.5 Terabyte of data. But this could be bigger and they might have more sensitive information.

It is also not clear who is behind this hack. When we have any information about the hacker, I will surely update this story or publish a new one depending on information available.
