DSC_0213Last week, we published the review of Photofast Memories Cable, In this post, I will be publishing the review of another product by the same company for iOS users. This product is Photofast I-Flash Drive MAX Review which is actually a dual pendrive for iOS users. You can use it in both system and iOS devices. You need the same i-FlashDrive ONE app to use this pendrive on your iOS device.

Design

Design of the pendrive is good with body made of shining plastic. It has USB 3.0 port at one side and Lightning port to connect iOS device on other side. Both ports have transparent plastic caps. Cap over the Lightning connector is hinged but cap of USB port is detachable. Design is solid and it will survive easily in normal accidental falls. Weight of the this pendrive is just 9.5 g. It is easy to carry and use.

How to use

For using it in desktop or laptop, you just need to use it like ordinary pendrive. But for using it with iOS devices, you will have to install i-FlashDrive ONE app. After installing the app, you will be able to use this pendrive to transfer data. You can also take backup of your iPhone or ipad. App also offers option to connect your Facebook, dropbox and Google drive account to take backup of data from these accounts to this pendrive.

You also have options to protect data with password or touchid. This app also lets you directly watch videos, see photos and access files on pendrive. You can also directly create files in the pendrive with the help of the app. You can move files from phone to this pendrive or vice versa.

Read write speed for USB port:

I tested the read-write speed of USB port. See the results below:

My Verdict:

Android users have plenty of options for dual Pendrive but for iOS there are not much options. This dual pendrive for iOS is a good thing iPhone or iPad users will enjoy. You do not need to worry about storage on your iPhone, I-Flash Drive MAX  lets you take backup of your iPhone and quickly transfer data from iPhone to desktop or laptop.
