Google Announces Project Volta to Improve Battery Life of smartphones

Battery backup is the biggest problem with smartphones. So, Google has decided to solve this problem with its new project Volta for Android L. This new feature is designed to optimize battery life of smartphone with its smart battery saving modes.

This new feature sounds similar to the feature offered by various other companies but we can expect that it will do better job. It will have better display of battery usage and new job scheduler. A new app called “battery Historian” will give you a better idea of what is using battery on their phone.

Google also claimed that Battery Saver can extend battery by up to 90 percent.
