We have already talked much about the next version of Android. We also reported that the next version of Android to have name “Key Lime Pie.” But we are not sure at the time. Now a Google employee has confirmed that the next version of Android will be called Android Key Lime Pie.

He has posted an image on Google+ that shows the evolution of Android. Last Android is eating a piece of Key Lime Pie It confirms the name of next version of Android.

It also shows the strength of Android that has grown with the evolution of next version. First version of Android is shown weak and bend while Jelly bean is straight and happy. Last Android is eating something that looks like a piece of pie with cream and lime. We can also expect that Key Lime Pie will be Android 4.2.

But there is no information when it will be released. We have also heard that next version of Android will also have some features of Chrome OS. That will bring Android to Notebooks.
