Leaked OnePlus 5 Render Shows Dual Rear Camera

OnePlus 5

This year, OnePlus will launch OnePlus 5 in place of OnePlus 4 because of tetraphobia. We have already talked about this in past. Now, we just got the glimpse of the first render of OnePlus 5.

If we trust on this leaked photo, OnePlus 5 will come with dual camera setup. It also confirms the metal construction similar to what the company brought in OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T.

The power button is still located at left. The right side has volume rockers and button to control notifications. There are no visible antenna lines. The fingerprint sensor will be located on the physical home button below the display.

The front camera of the phone will remain the same 16 MP camera but rear camera has been changed to adopt the dual camera setup. At this time, we just see dual camera setup in design. We have no idea what camera sensors and software feature this camera will get.

Few reports also suggested the specifications. It is expected to have 5.5-inch QHD touchscreen, Snapdragon 835 chipset, 6GB RAM, Storage expandable up to 256GB, 3000 mAh battery. Dash Charge is the most notable feature of OnePlus phones. We expect even faster charging with Dash Charge in OnePlus 5.

At this moment, we cannot say anything about the pricing and availability. Like other OnePlus phones, this phone will also be priced aggressively to fight with Galaxy S8.

The phone is expected to become official in next two months and will hit its key markets like India and China at the same time.
