Micromax Dual 5 with 13 MP dual Camera setup launched for Rs. 24999

Micromax has also joined the race of dual camera phones with its new Micromax Dual 5. The phone comes with 13 megapixels dual camera setup. It is priced at Rs. 24999. It will be available via Flipkart, Micromax e-Store, and offline stores starting April 10.

Micromax Dual camera with two rear camera sensors. The first one is the 13 megapixels monochrome camera and the second is the 13 megapixels RGB camera sensor. These camera sensors are ofF / 1.8 aperture and 1.12um pixel size. It also has PDAF, 6 lens type structure. Camera glass also has Gorilla Glass protection.

At the front, the camera has 13 megapixels camera with soft selfie flash. The rear camera can record up to 4K videos and front camera can also record up to Full HD videos.

It comes with metal built that looks like HTD One M7 phone. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Micromax’s own UI on the top of it. Android Nougat update will be rolled out soon.

Micromax Dual 5 offers 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 2.5D curved display and Gorilla Glass protection. It is packed with .8 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 chipset with Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB RAM. It also comes with 128GB internal storage that is expandable up to 256 GB.

It comes with 4G with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type C.  This is a dual SIM phone with support to VoLTE. But the phone has Hybrid SIM slot. It is packed with 3200 mAh battery with support to Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

The phone comes with the fingerprint sensor and IR blaster both.

The company has taken security and privacy seriously. This phone has integrated an independent high-grade security chip. The company claims that its security is military grade and unbreakable. This security works on the hardware level and has passed CC EAL5 + security certification. With this security, if an intruder gets your phone and attempts to remove the SIM card, it locks the whole devices including the physical buttons. So, your phone and data are safe. Once your phone is locked, your data will also be self-destructed after a certain period of time.

The company has also given a SecureVault in the phone that can only be accessed using the fingerprint. The company has also partnered with 360 Security for all the security and performance features.

The device comes with one-year replacement warranty.
