There are several factors one should look at while buying a charging cable. So, I properly test charging cables to see if they satisfy the quality criteria.

This is a premium Nylon Braided charging cable that makes it sturdy and tangle-free. The wire is thick but really durable. I did several stress and bend tests but the cable is still working fine. Connectors at both the end are of good quality and can survive the pressure and stress. The length of this cable is 3 feet that I consider ideal for most of the people. Another good thing is that the cable comes with a hassle-free 12-month warranty.

This Type-C cable is universally compatible. So, it supports all the devices that can be charged using Type-C cables. I tested it with Poco F1, OnePlus 6T, Redmi K20 Pro, and Redmi Note 7 Pro for charging and data transfer. It worked fine without any issue. It supports power output up to 5V, 2.4 Amp. So, it doesn’t support the OnePlus dash charge or other proprietary fast chargings that works on 15W or higher. Not just smartphones and tablets, you can also use this to charge laptops that now support Type-C charging, but only if you have supported adapter.

It is rated for a data transfer speed of up to 480 Mbps that is good enough. I tested the data transfer from my laptop to the smartphone and the transfer rate was good. Here is the screenshot of the external SSD speed benchmark using the Ausmo Type-C Cable. Data transfer speed was more than 400 Mbps.
