We already know that CMF is launching CMF Phone 2 Pro on April 28th. We have already seen a few teasers of the device. Now the company has officially confirmed that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor. While many expected the company to adopt the newer Dimensity 7400 chip, Nothing has chosen the Pro variant of the 7300 to strike the right balance between efficiency and real-world performance.
Compared to the standard Dimensity 7300 chip found in the CMF Phone 1, the new 7300 Pro promises up to 10% faster CPU performance and 5% faster GPU performance. The chip includes MediaTek’s 6th generation NPU that delivers 4.8 TOPS AI processing power. The phone will also support a 1000Hz touch sampling rate to ensure ultra-responsive touch input for gamers and power users.
While full design details are still under wraps, Nothing has been teasing bits of the phone’s aesthetic in recent weeks. A recent teaser image highlighted the slim bezels around the display, although the bottom bezel size remains undisclosed.
Nothing has described the upcoming phone as ultra-slim, ultra-light, and ultra-sleek,. It points towards a premium and refined form factor. The India head of Nothing, Akis Evangelidis, has also confirmed that the phone will come with a charger included in the box, a welcome move at a time when many brands have started omitting it.
With the official launch scheduled for April 28th, more details are expected to be revealed in the days leading up to the event. the CMF Phone 2 Pro is likely to continue CMF’s focus on customizability, solid performance, and thoughtful design.
