Sekyo has launched the Neo AI smartwatch in India. The device targets parents looking for a connected device that combines child safety, communication, parental controls, and basic learning features. The company calls it an AI-powered smartwatch for children, with features such as AI-based question answering, GPS tracking, video calling, and remote monitoring.
The Sekyo Neo AI is priced at ₹8,460 as an introductory offer and is available through the company’s website and Amazon India.
One of the main features of the smartwatch is its AI Learning Coach. Children can use it to solve maths problems, ask general questions, look up encyclopedia-style information, and generate images. The watch also includes a calculator and a selection of educational games. Sekyo has also added a Good Habit Coach with reminders, an alarm, and a stopwatch aimed at helping children manage study, play, and bedtime routines.
For communication, the smartwatch supports 4G video calls, voice calls, and voice messages. It also has a Family Group Chat feature that allows parents, siblings, and other family members to communicate through the device.

The Neo AI includes real-time GPS tracking, route history, and Safe Zone Alerts. Parents can set a designated area and receive an alert if the child leaves it. There is also a 1-Click SOS feature that can share the child’s location with parents during an emergency.
The smartwatch also gives parents control over how it can be used during school hours. Its Class Mode can disable certain functions or lock the screen remotely. Parents can also remotely listen through the watch or capture an instant photo using their smartphone. These features are managed through the Sekyo app.
Other features include a Magic Camera, voice assistant, step tracking, photo gallery, and 32GB of storage. The watch is part of Sekyo’s wider ecosystem of connected products, with the Sekyo app serving as the central platform for managing its devices.
Sekyo CEO and Co-Founder Smridhi Goyal said the Neo AI was designed around the idea of keeping children connected and safe while also supporting their everyday activities and learning.
The launch comes ahead of Raksha Bandhan, with Sekyo positioning the smartwatch around the festival’s theme of protection. However, the Neo AI is not limited to a festival-focused product. Sekyo is targeting parents who want more functionality from a children’s smartwatch than basic calling and location tracking.
At ₹8,460, the Neo AI also sits well above many basic kids’ smartwatches available in India. Its value will therefore depend on how well its AI learning features, safety tools, and parental controls work in everyday use. Features such as remote monitoring and location tracking can be useful for parents, but they also make privacy, data security, and responsible use important considerations when choosing a connected device for children.
