Sports Interactive has announced a free preview of Football Manager 27, running from October 29 to November 3. Players can access the full game on Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, and Game Pass ahead of its official launch on November 10.

Unlike a limited trial, the preview includes the entire game. Players who purchase the full version can also carry over their save data and continue their careers. The preview replaces the early access period previously offered with more expensive editions of the series.

Football Manager 27 follows the mixed reception of Football Manager 26, which faced criticism for its redesigned interface, technical issues, and match simulation.

The new game brings improvements to the match engine and introduces Tactical Tweaks and Tactical Effectiveness for greater control over team tactics and training. Players can also replicate training schedules and use visual indicators to track player development.

Sports Interactive has also updated the matchday experience with dynamic pre-match cutscenes and improved crowd, weather, and lighting effects.

The interface is getting navigation improvements to reduce the number of clicks needed to access important screens. The updated full-screen experience will also adapt to different display sizes without hiding key information.

Football Manager 27 launches on November 10 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Mobile versions will be available through Netflix and Apple Arcade.
