Apple has increased the prices of its entire iPad lineup in India. The price hike covers everything from the entry-level iPad to the iPad Pro models. The revision impacts all categories, including iPad mini, iPad Air, and iPad Pro.
It is also important to note that Apple has also increased prices across its Mac lineup in India. Multiple Mac models saw major revisions across configurations. The latest iPad price changes follow a similar pattern. Apple had earlier indicated that rising memory and storage chip costs could impact pricing globally. With Macs already revised, iPads are now the next major product line to be affected.
The biggest jump is seen in the iPad Pro 13-inch, which now starts at Rs. 1,99,900 for the base Wi-Fi variant. Even the entry-level iPad has not been spared and now starts at Rs. 49,900.
Apple iPad Prices in India: Old vs New
| Model | Old Price | New Price |
|---|---|---|
| iPad | ₹34,900 | ₹49,900 |
| iPad mini | ₹49,900 | ₹69,900 |
| iPad Air 11-inch | ₹64,900 | ₹89,900 |
| iPad Air 13-inch | ₹84,900 | ₹1,19,900 |
| iPad Pro 11-inch | ₹99,900 | ₹1,39,900 |
| iPad Pro 13-inch | ₹1,29,900 | ₹1,99,900 |
The price revision also shows how India is being impacted more strongly compared to some other markets. While global price adjustments are happening, the effect in India is amplified due to currency pressure and import costs.
It is also important to note that these prices are only for base Wi-Fi variants. Cellular models and higher storage options will cost even more.
