Xbox has started rolling out its new logo across consoles, marking another step in the company’s ongoing brand refresh. The update was confirmed by Asha Sharma, who announced that the new logo is now appearing in several areas of the system interface.

According to the announcement, the refreshed logo is being added to dynamic backgrounds, profile backgrounds, and gamer pictures. While this may look like a small visual change, it signals a broader effort to strengthen the Xbox identity across its ecosystem.

This move comes at a time when Microsoft is reportedly shifting its focus more directly toward the Xbox brand. Recent reports suggest the company is moving away from the “Microsoft Gaming” label in favor of highlighting Xbox as the core gaming identity. Alongside this, pricing changes have also been introduced, including a reduction in the cost of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The change also coincides with the removal of Call of Duty as a day-one title from the service.

Looking ahead, Xbox is also preparing to share more details about its next-generation plans. The company is expected to discuss upcoming features in a new Game Dev Update series scheduled for May. This presentation will include a closer look at “Project Helix,” along with additional insights into the next-gen console that was first introduced during GDC in March.
