Nvidia has announced some changes to its cloud game streaming service, GeForce Now. It has not revised pricing but added playtime capping to existing membership.
Nvidia has renamed Priority membership to Performance. It offers 1440p streaming, up from 1080p streaming. It also offers immersive, ultrawide resolution support and the ability to save graphics settings across streaming sessions. All Priority members will be automatically upgraded to this new Performance tier.
The company has also added a 100-hour monthly playtime cap in Performance and Ultimate memberships starting January 1st, 2025. It also has a rollover feature that lets users carry over 15 hours to the next month. Users who need additional playtime can purchase it. It costs $2.99 for 15 hours on the Performance tier or $5.99 for 15 hours on the Ultimate tier.
