Microsoft announced the new Surface Go 3, the successor to Surface Go 2. The new 2-in-1 laptop comes with new Intel processors.

Surface Go 3 has the same 10.5-inch 1920 x 1280 display. You can write and draw naturally on-screen with a Surface Pen. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

It packs new Intel processors: Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y or Core i3-10100Y depending on the model. Upgraded chips promise around 60 percent faster performance than predecessors. You get up to 8GB of RAM.

The base model gets 64GB eMMC storage while the higher-end model has 128GB SSD storage. It has an 8 megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels selfie camera.

It includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, MicroSDXC Card Reader, and USB-C port. The device also includes 2W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio and Enhanced dual far-field Studio Mics.

The device runs Windows 11 out of the box. It also supports Windows Hello facial. The laptop also supports Microsoft Pen Protocol but you will have to buy the stylus separately. There is also an optional LTE model.

Microsoft promises around 11 hours of battery life that we can comfortably say an all-day battery.

Surface Go 3 starts at $399.99 and is now available for pre-order.
