ASUS has launched the new ASUS Chromebook CX15 (CX1505CTA) in India. The new Chromebook is aimed at students, young professionals, and first-time laptop buyers looking for a device for everyday tasks such as online classes, browsing, document editing, video calls, and productivity work.
The laptop features a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS NanoEdge display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. The display offers 300 nits of brightness, an 87% screen-to-body ratio, and an anti-glare coating for comfortable viewing during long usage sessions.
The ASUS Chromebook CX15 runs on ChromeOS and comes with Google AI features designed to improve productivity, learning and entertainment experiences. It also integrates with Google services, allowing users to access tools like Gemini, Google Docs, Gmail and other services.
The Chromebook also comes with a three-month Google AI Pro membership. The subscription provides access to AI features across Google services, including Gemini, AI features in Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Gemini Notebook. Users also get 5TB cloud storage, Google Flow for AI-powered video creation, advanced Google Photos editing tools, Nano Banana image generation and YouTube Premium Lite.
The Chromebook CX15 is powered by the Intel Processor N50 paired with Intel UHD Graphics. It comes with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB eMMC storage.
The ASUS Chromebook CX15 comes with a Pure Grey finish inspired by traditional Japanese washi paper. It weighs 1.59kg and is designed to be durable. The laptop meets US MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards and also uses recycled materials as part of its construction.
ASUS claims that the Chromebook can deliver up to 12.5 hours of usage on a single charge. It supports a 45W USB Type-C fast charger.
The ASUS Chromebook CX15 comes with the Titan C Security Chip that provides hardware-level protection. ChromeOS also offers automatic security updates and built-in protection against security threats. The laptop includes a physical webcam privacy shutter that allows users to block camera access when not required.
The ASUS Chromebook CX15 (CX1505CTA) is priced at Rs. 47,990 in India. It will be available through ASUS Exclusive Stores, ROG Stores, ASUS authorised retail partners, Reliance Digital, ASUS eShop and other leading retail outlets.
ASUS is also offering Easy Pay financing options with 0% No Cost EMI starting at Rs. 3,999 per month. The laptop comes with a one-year standard warranty along with one-year accidental damage protection.
