Nest Audio

After announcing Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A 5G, Google announced its newest smart speaker, the Nest Audio. Nest Audio is the successor of the original Google Home smart speaker. It can also respond twice faster than it did in the original Google Home. It is priced at just $99. The new speaker is also cheaper than its predecessor.

This new smart speaker comes with a 75mm mid-woofer and a 19mm tweeter along with three far-field mics, and a two-stage hardware mic mute switch. Google promises that you will get full, clear, and natural sound. The company has spent 500 hours of tuning to ensure balanced lows, mids, and highs. It has a custom-designed tweeter to offer musical details.

Google claims that Next Audio is 75% louder and has a 50% stronger bass than the original Google Home.

It is made from 70% recycled plastic and will be available in Chalk, Charcoal, Sage, Sand, and Sky colors. There are capacitive touch controls on the top. It packs quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU clocked at 1.8 GHz and supports Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac.

Google has also added some features to improve your listening experience. It comes with Media EQ that automatically tunes itself to whatever you’re listening to. The Ambient IQ adjusts the volume of what it’s playing based on the background noise in your home.

The Nest Audio will be available in the US, Canada, and India on October 5. Later it will be available in 18 other countries on October 15.
