Microsoft’s could storage service OneDrive just got a notable security update for Android users. Now OneDrive users on Android devices can protect their content using fingerprint lock. This extra layer of security will keep their content more secure.

The update releases last week and will be available to all Android users in coming days. Of course, it requires a smartphone or tablet with fingerprint sensor.

Before this, users could only have pin code option to secure their content that can be easily compromised. Fingerprint lock is more secure and it cannot be compromised. So, only you will have the access to your files.

Along with fingerprint sensor support, Microsoft has also improved the easily compromised and simplified the image search that are backed up to OneDrive.
