A few days back, we reported that Moto is working on an Android One smartphone. Now, Google has officially announced the Android One version of Moto X4. It will be exclusive to U.S. for Project Fi users.

This is also the first Android One phone for US market and first non-Google phone to join Google’s Project Fi. With this phone, Google has shown its big plans with Android One and Project Fi.

Moto X4 Android One comes with Android 7.1 Nougat but will receive Android 8.0 Oreo by the end of this year.

There are no changes in specifications. This phone comes with 5.2-inch Full HD LTPS IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It has 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 630 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 508 GPU. It has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage.

It comes with dual camera setup with 12 MP dual Autofocus Pixel camera and 8 MP ultra-wide angle secondary camera sensor. It can also record 4K videos. It has 16 MP front camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture.

The phone is water and dust resistant with IP68 certification. It has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS, GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C connectivity. It packs 3000 mAh battery with Turbo Charging.

The phone is priced at $399 and will be available only in the US. it is also offering up to $165 for select Nexus devices through trade-in program. Users will also get extra $50 Fi Credit if they exchange by October 5.
