Apple has officially confirmed the rumored MacBook event. Apple has started sending invites for an event scheduled on October 27.

Apple is expected to announce the new line-up of Mac computers. We are expecting thinner and faster MacBook Pro. We expect new iMac and new MacBook Air as well.

Apple is expected to include USB Type-C port and drops the microSD card support. Apple will also use touch-sensitive OLED display strip above the keyboard for function keys. This new OLED touch panel will also include touch ID.

Recent rumours suggest that Apple will discontinue 11-inch MacBook Air model but the 13-inch model will get refreshed specifications. It is also expected to get USB Type-C.

Apple is also working on new iMac devices with AMD graphics which could debut the event. The rumoured 5K retina display with integrated GPU can also be the part of the event.

The full MacBook range has not received expected update for a long time. Apple is still selling MacBook Pro models that were launched four years ago. So, this event is important for MacBook line-up.

Stay tuned for all the latest updates. We are keeping a close eye on all the updates regarding new MacBook series.
